When it comes to recapping a whole year’s worth of sessions and weddings, I feel like I have to start with the best of couple’s portraits. I’m always honored and grateful to be a part of my couples’ wedding weekends and stories. It’s a joy to preserve these special memories and moments for them. 2022 was just as amazing as years past, and I had a fantastic time with each couple. Every wedding and session was unique and special in its own way.
Not only were the sessions and weddings top-notch, but each came to PLAY when it came to their portrait time. They were NOT messing around.
It happens all the time… A couple will come to me and say that they are “awkward in front of the camera” or they “aren’t the biggest fans of being in front of the camera.”. And BOOM. It’s like magic. Within a couple of minutes, it’s as if I have two professional models in front of me — just two people in love, having a great time in front of the camera.
I had the pleasure of photographing engagement sessions and weddings all over the country this year. Some highlights of places were sessions and weddings in New York City, Kiawah River, The Hamptons, Charleston, Seattle, sweet home Chicago, and more.
Choosing only a few favorites from each session and wedding from 2022 was very challenging. There were too many favorites to narrow down (I started with over 300…). I didn’t want to overwhelm you 😉 These are just a highlight of the many images I am most proud of from 2022. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
