Everyone who meets Jen and Taylor instantly falls in love with them and their relationship. These two are so in love and adore each other so much that it makes you melt into a mushy puddle. Seriously. They are AMAZING. They’re both so sweet, kind, friendly and you can just see how much they love each other. I’m so honored to be their photographer and can’t get over this sweet summer engagement session.
Teachers in the same classroom…
Taylor and Jen ended up meeting each other when they were working together in the same classroom. They instantly became friends. After some time, they started dating and they’ve been together now for over three years.
A first date in California…
Taylor and Jen love to travel so it makes sense their first date was out of town. The camp they were both working for was in California. When they had a day off, they decided to go up to San Francisco. They spent the day exploring the city and had a picnic in Dolores Park.
Two proposals…
They both ended up deciding the best place to propose was when they were at the Chinese Lantern Festival in the Mojave desert. During the trip, they were met with travel and weather interference. This messed up their original plans, so they had to come up with a plan B quickly. Taylor was determined to propose on this trip and didn’t want to wait, so she proposed in the hotel lobby. When Jen bent down to put away the rin box, she turned around with a ring box of her own and proposed to Taylor. It was a double surprise proposal with friends and family as witnesses.
I’m so excited for their wedding next summer at Chicago Botanic Gardens with LOLA Event Productions… it’s going to be the BEST time ever!
